Its almost over....a very wet month fraught with changes. Tossing junk, getting new junk, a bus that I have been riding for 4.5 years stopped running, we're moving and trying to keep it all together.

The garage sale went well, we had a rare day of sunshine and we made $180 bucks, everything that we didn't sell made its way to the thrift store or the trash can.

Weekdays I ride a Sound Transit bus to Bothell where I work, for the last four and a half years I was catching a Community Transit bus from the university there to my building. The route has been cut and I have been walking the distance, it takes about a half hour and there is a nice trail that follows North Creek to my destination. Birds,ducks,bunnies,berries,beavers,slugs, snakes ...

Slugs intrigue me and gross me out! They own the trail out here, my fear is that i'll either step and slip on one or that one will find it's way into the cuffs of my jeans.....caca

I was almost to my bus stop the other day and about to stash the camera and I almost stepped on this snake.

The sun came out in Seattle last weekend for the U-District street fair, lots of musicians

took some shots in the neighborhood today, there was a block party on 10th ave for the opening of Eliot Bay Books on the hill, as usual I find the buildings more interesting than the folks

Wintergrass 2010

It's been a bit since I posted here, i've got a new dslr camera and i'm still in the baby stages of learning how to use it. I attended my fourth Wintergrass Festival last weekend Feb.26-27 and carried the new toy with, this festival is lively because along with the scheduled artists people gather everywhere and anywhere (allowed) to play, all ages, strings galore! I love it, here's some of my shots, oh yeah, festival is indoors at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue,WA. , very comfortable, very bellevue...I tried to concentrate on the haps but occasionally got lost in the props



this is The Infamaous Stringdusters on friday night I saw them again on Saturday, the bass players leg was in a crazy splint but his voice and strings were damn fine

Went to breakfast at a favorite spot last saturday and found out its scheduled to close 12/31/09, it will be missed


after breakfast we walked over to a friends place, she's out of the country rite now so we go by and retrieve the mail and deposit it inside her place for safekeeping 'til she may peruse it.....or not








at home i've been working on some oil paintings , they are coming along at a VERY slow pace, but I think it's what I like about them
