we left Denver on our way to an overnight stay at a campground on the southern end of Lake Powell. We rode thru Glenwood Canyon in Colorado and then south thru Arches National Park in Utah, thru Moab. It was hot and red as hell !!

I heard Moab referred to as "west Boulder" once when I lived in Colorado, the rocks and terrain here are much bigger and different than in the foothills of Denver/Boulder.

the next feature was called "Park Avenue"
loved the rocks in that park but really wouldn't want to spend much time there...the heat was way too intense.
